Key questions remain unanswered on a number of issues, including further explanation of what Mueller uncovered with regard to charges against Trump for obstruction of justice.

Barr promised to release a redacted version to the public by mid-April, but Democratic leaders set an April 2 deadline for the release to Congress of the full, unredacted report or they would issue subpoenas. They also want Barr to testify before the House Judiciary Committee as soon as possible.

Protests calling on Barr to release the full report are planned Thursday, April 4, in more than 250 cities nationwide, including 9 locations in Maine (see below). The actions are being organized by the the Nobody is Above the Law network, a national coalition of progressive groups that also held more than 500 protests in November 2018 following the removal of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who had overseen the Mueller investigation since its launch. Maine hosted 13 protests for that action.

Social media hashtags: #ReleaseTheReport, #ReleaseTheFullMuellerReport, #MuellerTime [/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section bb_built=”1″ admin_label=”MoC/Legislators contact section” _builder_version=”3.0.89″ custom_padding=”0|0px|0px|0px|false|false” prev_background_color=”#000000″ next_background_color=”#00417f” global_module=”3386″][et_pb_row global_parent=”3386″ custom_width_px=”1778px” custom_padding=”32px||14px|30px|false|false” custom_margin=”|||” _builder_version=”3.19.11″ background_color=”#00417f” background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” border_width_all=”4px” border_color_all=”#efb217″ module_alignment=”center”][et_pb_column type=”1_3″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Collins, King” global_parent=”3386″ _builder_version=”3.19.11″]

Email | Facebook | Twitter Sen.
