The HUB is a forum for leaders of grassroots groups and progressive organizations across the state. Moderated by Jennifer Jones and Kay Watson, The HUB was created in spring 2017 and now boasts more than 100 members representing more than 55 groups in all 16 counties. The groups vary in size and scope, but they all share a commitment to civic engagement, civil discourse, and an interest in issues such as health care, education, the environment, social justice, civil rights, and other areas that affect the lives of all Mainers. Hubsters network with fellow leaders; share ideas, events and calls to action; and brainstorm about solutions to the challenges we all face as leaders. We are\u00a0beholden to issues and action, not parties or politicians, and we aren\u2019t engaged in fundraising.
